Couldn’t agree more with this. Only comment things that aren’t intuitive. Most stuff can be made very clear with good naming & code structure.
This feels like an issue with source control and testing. When you found out what was broken, you could just find the last commit where it was fine and look at what changed. If you have a good test suite then there’s a good chance you’ll catch that big before it’s merged.
